Tom and I met, none other than on the incredible Internet. Tom instant messaged me on AOL and we became computer buddies and chatted on line frequently.
Weeks later, my mom asked me if I knew any guys who could help solve some computer problems. I knew Tom had computer skills but was hesitant to ask because I had never met him in person. Finally, I asked him for help since I knew he went to the same church I did. My Mom offered to make lunch for him. When he heard the word “food,” he jumped at the opportunity to help.
We became friends that day but since I was seeing another guy, I didn’t think about Tom in a romantic way. A month or so later after the other relationship fell apart, Tom took the risk and asked me to the movies. I realized that night that Tom was a really incredible man. From that day forward, we were together in all our free time. We couldn’t stop talking. Several months later we knew God had brought us together as life partners. We will spend the rest of our lives together.
